ANC is a New York City based band, formed while the members were still in high school. They are an exceptional balance of control and youthful excitement, mixing in elements of reggae, dub, punk, ska, and hip hop in a free-flowing ride that brings to mind bands like Bob Marley, The Police, and Sublime. That they manage to do this without sounding derivative is what makes them so unique. They have played many shows in the downtown areas of Manhattan, and can almost always be found playing a set at CBGB's, Club Seho, or The Tribeca Rock Club.

Dark Helmet and the Thailand Five

Dark Helmet and the Thailand Five is a duo comprised of Julien Joy on keyboard and Jason Rusman on guitar and vocals. Their genre is hard to pin down, but it falls somewhere between mid-90's alternative, current indie pop, and experimental synth pop. Musical influences include Badly Drawn Boy, Spoon, Feeder, and the Shins. "We're mostly full of shit, but have a good time being full of shit and actually churn out some decent songs."

This Philadelphia band plays a unique blend of acoustic rockers mixed with chill accompanied singer/songwriter pieces. Started as a backup band for singer and guitarist Evan Pugh in 2004, the band has grown into its own entity with Will Longo on bass and Rob Korobkin on drums. Evan & The Argonauts are awaiting a Spring 2005 release of their debut EP Tenth Story Glory.

Zoe Irvine

Zoe started playing piano when she was five because her mother made her. When she was thirteen, she started playing the guitar because she wanted to, and she's been writing songs ever since. She's played open mics and shows at Haverford College and in her hometown of Monterey, CA.

Lilly Lavner has broken into the music scene, creating a unique blend of pop-rock and folk with her album Walking Away. Reminiscent of Joni Mitchell or Sarah McLaughlin, Lilly has a clear and gentle voice which gives her music a sweet, yet powerful quality. Lilly is currently working on her second album.

A product of the suburban southeastern Pennsylvania countryside, Evan has been playing and writing music since he was 13. Now, aside from performing in venues at Philadelphia colleges, he plays every Tuesday night at The Point in Bryn Mawr, PA and is the front man for Philadelphia-based Evan & The Argonauts
